Whilst lacking any kind of popstar credentials (the only moment of note being in 2015 when his track Fuck Off Tarquin was named in the Wire magazine as the top Hip Hop track of the year), Big Toast has amassed a small but devoted fanbase with his distinctive brand of understated intelligence and overstated abrasiveness. Whether as a solo artist, or as part of collectives such as Gatecrasherz, TPS Fam or Tuff Boyz, nobody sounds quite like Big Toast.
