Canadian Senegalese and French singer-songwriter, Alexiane burst onto the alternative-pop scene as she performed the track A Million on My Soul, the original theme song of Luc Besson's blockbuster "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets". This single had drawn the attention of the entire planet, accumulating more than 41 million views on Youtube alone upon its release and allowed the discovery of Alexiane’s unique talent that will only keep on surprising more and more with the release of her new project in 2024! In 2021, Alexiane presented her first album entitled Into the Sun, a 19-track pop opus that has a cinematic feel and is influenced by the sounds of the different cultures that she grew up in. Into the Sun is a project she worked on in close collaboration with Carla Bruni as her co-producer. Her single, You Say You Love Me, continues to top the charts across the globe and was selected as iHeartRadio’s Future Star in August and September 2022. Alexiane performed the official song of the United Nations international campaign titled Blue Hearts, dedicated to the fight against human trafficking. Alexiane will also participate in an event organized by the UN to support the cause, on July 29th 2024 in Dakar. Few Canadian artists can boast of the success and recognition that Alexiane has had with her first album: the remix of AMillion On My Soul is now triple platinum.
