Kitbogha is an independent Belgian artist with Ukrainian roots based in Brussels, Belgium. Music has played a major role in his life from as early as he can remember. When he was 8 years old he was educated in a very classical and strict way. His education began to weigh heavy on him and he eventually got pushed to the point where he did not feel like playing music anymore. During high school he got to know many different genres of music that were completely new to him like electro, dubstep and hip-hop. Since he only knew about classical music until then, this felt like a new and exciting world for him. His interest was reawakened and it wasn’t long after that he discovered DJ’ing and the art of producing electronic music. Over the years he has found inspiration from a variety of sources, from close friends, likeminded people and fellow musicians, to festivals and travelling. He loves working with sample-based music and collaborating with other musicians such as guitarists, singers, violists… All this combined with his own personal life experiences shapes his music constantly.
