Born in the Dominican Republic, in a Barrio called "Los Minas" then migrated into the US at 4 Yrs old, is a pioneer of NYC’s Latin urban culture Juan Miguel Villar better known as Tali Goya . It didn't take long for music to influence his mindset. Since the age of 8, music has been an infatuation and influence from his NYC surroundings growing up in Washington Heights. From listening to Vico C, Tego Calderon , Hector La Voz , Willie Colón to Notorious B.I.G. , Jay-Z , 50 Cent , Lil Wayne & many others. Tali Goya has emerged himself into being a pioneer of the Spanish Trap culture with memorable hits such as Tamo Lindo, Flow Cabron , Que Vivan Lo Tiger , and Blanco y Negro . Gaining respect from others in the latin community, he's become a solidified and revered figure in the genre we call today Latin Trap and Latin Urban Music alike . He has transcended through other genres of music such as Dembow where he along with El Alfa El Jefe made one of the biggest well known songs in the genre titled “Que Fue”. He has also made his footprints on film in El Ganador” , a Netflix series starring Nicky Jam .
