Simon Ray is an Italian artist who, even though he just recently exploded in the international house scene, has quickly become one of Axwell’s most favorite and supported project, who signed him on his label, Axtone Records, releasing his first tracks. His first single “Burnin’ Up Inside”, which was the only ID played by Swedish House Mafia at their performance at Ushuaia Ibiza, has already gained in less than a month hunders of thousands of streams on Spotify and a huge list of live supports. Plus, his remix for “Grey Zone” by Sem Thomasson received major editorial support from Spotify and has been widely appreciated by the scene, creating his signature “happy house” sound which is one of the freshest and most interesting in the scene right now. He then released his single Burnin’ Up Inside, which became the 5th most supported funky/groove track in 2020, followed by Soul Revolution, Right Vibes and My Way w/Roisto. He also released two more remixes, one on Axtone for Manyfew & Marcus Santoro and one on Spinnin' Deep for Hagenaar & Albrecht, both widely supported. Needless to say, lots of new music is coming in 2021.
