Biography

Margin Alexander (born in 1988) is a pianist and composer from the New York area.
He released his first two albums for piano solo back in 2017 (The Cosmopolitan Sound) and (Poezia) in 2019. Since then, his music started to travel around the globe.
An avid performer of his own works, Margin often performs across the United States, Europe and throughout the world every year by always bringing new compositions on various venues such as Music Festivals, competitions, public and private recitals etc.
Even though trained classically, he always remained loyal to composing contemporary cinematic music. His tracks "Poezia," "Watersounds," and "Time Has No Face" are amongst his most successful compositions. As an emerging composer, Margin has taken a variety of projects in his hands such as film music, electronic productions and ballet suites. His most notable achievement is his November, 2019 debut at Carnegie Hall with his composition called "Nocturne No.2" where a crowd of 600 applauded him passionately dazzled by his piano performance.
Margin's main source of inspiration comes from his life experiences and memoirs, especially from his childhood spent in Southeastern Europe where he spent some of his most important years.
His music has been used for short movies, documentaries and dancing events. More Info
