FosterSA known to his family as Athi Bhelem is a young skilled DJ and Producer in Cape Town, Known for his soothing yet groovy Gqom sound. The DJ/Producer fell in love with the music scene at an early age . The first genre he got exposed to was Deep House, he was taught by the talented Asenova real name Aseza Zide but he fell in love with the high tempo, heavy bass sound of Gqom. His deep house background influenced his Gqom Sound in a tremendous way He has worked with many artists around Cape Town and Eastern Cape, one of the first artists to work with him was Dj @Toolz Umazelaphi & Afro Records just to name a few. Now he has an amazing music catalog featuring some of the biggest heavyweights in Cape Town and South Africa, @Master Dee, @Ubiza Wethu, amazing Vocalists such as @Anande, @Avela Mvalo, @IDK Lukhanyo & @Ricky Randar. FosterSA has shared the stage with some of South Africa’s finest talents, the likes of Joocy from Afrotaintment, Hungani Ndlovu who played Romero on Scandal, Mshayi and Mr Thela, Dj Zandimazi, DJ Angazz Ubizza Wethu and many many more.
