Biography

Emerging Latin guitarist, song-writer and producer, Miguel Muziq is an exciting prospect in the world of Jazz and Latin music. Having played the guitar from as early as the age of 10 with lessons from his father, music is firmly in Miguel’s blood. His unique style is a nod to his Greek Cypriot heritage with the additional melodic richness and rhythm synonymous with Latin America. Whilst beginning to establish himself as a Musician/Artist in his own right, Miguel’s history in the music industry extends to production and remixing credits for acts such as Usher and Kelly Rowland. Influenced by the sounds of Latin America and the Mediterranean, Jazz and Soul, Miguel Muziq has released his debut album "An Angel's Healing." Inspired from, and as a direct result from a of time of turmoil, ‘An Angel’s Healing’ was Miguel’s coping mechanism, pouring his soul on his 14 track instrumental offering. It was a journey of self-discovery in many ways. Proud collaborations include accomplished musicians Keyon Harrold (D’Angelo, Beyonce), Tivon Pennicott and Emanuel Harrold (Gregory Porter), Yelfris Valdes, and more. Miguel’s influences include Stevie Wonder, Gregory Porter, Joe Pass, Paco De Lucia, Luis Bonfa, and Stan Getz. ‘An Angel’s Healing’ was released on June 18th, and with support it has received so far there is no doubt Miguel Muziq has arrived, ready to spread his sound across the world.
