Dino Barretta aka Barr3tt is a DJ and electronic music producer who has an eclectic style ranging from driving techno to epic melodic house. 
 He has made tracks that have been released on labels ranging from Snatch! to Defected. He is also a studio engineer that has put the finishing touches to music released on influential labels such as Toolroom, Armada and Elrow. 
 Born and raised in the Naples region of Italy, he started to experiment with synthesisers at a young age, and when he was 15 years old joined a band that gave him his first taste of performing live music. 
 A love of underground sounds led him on a path of discovery that moved from alternative rock to the discovery of house and techno in early ‘90s. In 1993 he started producing his first solo tracks using hardware equipment including a newly purchased sampler. 
 The sampler opened up a new world of creativity, and he started to enter remix competitions as a way of developing his skills. After a number of first place finishes, he got approached to produce the soundtrack for a car advert that got broadcast in the UK. 
 Finding success in the UK inspired Dino to study a sound design qualification at SAE in London, and after graduating, set up his own studio called the Music Factory in Naples, where along with his own music, he also works with DJs and producers from around the world.
