After several years of pursuing other business and life endeavors, Luis came to a place where he realized that all he ever wanted in life came through writing, creating, and performing. “Music isn’t just a dream, it’s a lifeline.” In 2015, the native Texan quit his job, sold his house in Texas, and moved to Nashville with a laser-focused plan to live his dream of writing songs and performing again --- essentially starting over in life. While he could have pursued his dream in Texas, “I wanted to be around the top songwriters in the world, and they are in Nashville.” Since moving to Nashville, Luis has written with some of the industry’s top writers and has had 5 of his songs recorded by other artists, no small feat for the independent writer and artist. Rey’s debut EP released in 2017, was well-received by his growing fan-base, and continues to generate demand for him to perform live.
