Utter Confusion

Biography

Dialectic Dee, (real name Jennifer McGowan) is a spoken word artist from London who aims to use poetry for more than just entertainment purposes but rather as a tool to positively impact change.
Dee’s cryptic word play, imagery and passion has led to speaking engagements at various institutions, dining with Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex at IYAF Kingston, Creative Youth Gala to work with noteworthy organisations and brands like JD Sports for their Christmas advertising campaign, SBTV Cook Out, Sofar Sounds, Poetic Unity and Battersea Arts Centre to name a few.
Her scholarship at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama studying a BA Hons in Performance and Creative Enterprise after being at the renowned BRIT School has shaped and played a vital part to the successful poet she is today.
Whilst running her own spoken word outreach company, Melodic Vibes, she continues to study and focus on unexpressed yet significant topics in which she is passionate about, developing and honing her craft as a Spoken Word Artist and educator.
Dialectic Dee has found her very own unique voice in the poetic world, she is highly respected amongst her peers and celebrated for her achievements.
She’s created a sound in which not only her peers can resonate with, but now the world will be able to. Her issued debut EP, Utter Confusion, releasing in 2020, is a combination of soul-trap interjected with pensive moments of spoken word.
