Tory Tomlinson was born in Miami Fl. at the age of 9 he experienced recording his first song with his dad Tony Tomlinson ''a performing reggae artist’’ at the time, the song was called ‘’Living in America’’ It was a good song but they never really put it out, and from then, he knew he gained the love of music at a young age. The Move to Tallahassee Fl, at the age of 11. Growing up in a Christian home he started to write Gospel music and even performed at some big size churches at still a young age. Over the years he wrote tons of different music and recorded on a ‘’one track’’ recording program on a old windows computer. By High School he learned how to record and mix his vocals on a program called Mixcraft. Dropping music everywhere fast but quickly he noticed that putting out free music everywhere wasn’t going to get him paid nor noticed. So he started networking and gaining more knowledge of the industry. He also performed before Obama spoke at a Democratic National Convention at USC college in South Carolina back in 2008 in a rap group called the Democratic Rappers. They promoted getting people to vote. By 2012 now he records and mix all his music on Protools, and records other artists for money to help pay for promo for his music. Feeling like it wasn't going, he just couldn’t stop working. So he tried out formed groups with other solo artist in hopes to gain more recognition. But it fell apart fast, so he got back on track to finish his legacy. Which is now.
