Raja Rhythmix (Rahul Bader) is a Toronto-based sacred sound musician and visionary artist. His passion for world drumming has extended to training in global rhythms hubs like India, Africa and Cuba. He has produced works for animation, theatre, dance and film. Raja is a passionate producer blending live percussion, winds, strings and pans to create a connection between the beatmaking process and its tactile origins. Transporting the listener to different environments of the earth through rhythm and tribal roots, he is a Canadian producer paving new roads for medicine music to meet the dance floor. Raja is a recognized world percussion teacher and facilitator in the Canadian Music Scene. He has taught with the Sarah Mclachlan School of Music, and is known for helping people access rhythm in embodied ways. He has performed and facilitated workshops for Afrofest TO, Hillside Festival, Toronto Visionary Art Exhibit, Om Project, and Burning Man. Raja is community builder bringing world cultures together through global rhythm, sound and heart-centered music.
