Born Emmett Thomas, T>G is a humble Jamaican who like so many greats before him, has over the years, developed an appreciation and avid love for Dancehall/Reggae music. So much so, that he began singing and driving his parents crazy by age 12. With powerful vocals and the ability to sing as well as rap, T>G has found his own signature sound. Growing up in the very spirited but sometimes violent streets of Spanish Town was not easy, however, this helped to fuel the fire needed to create his musical spark. Life's journey has now put T>G in the subzero temperatures of Canada. But even that is not enough to quell his music flame. This flame has been influenced by many some more known than others, but all equally important. "Bob Marley, Busta Rhymes, Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Capleton, Mavado, GoldMynd, Kirk Diamond and Maxi Priest are just a few inspiring musicians that continue to give light to his musical journey. T>G hopes that with our without superstar status, that his music will touch every corner of the world and will give a vibe, motivation and inspiration to upcoming artist just as others did for him.
