Superdestroyer is the industrial rock project of engineer/producer Richard Brummond. For the April 1st 2022 EP release "Money Greed Regret Aggression", Richard worked with fellow Norwegian co-producer Andre Myhren and world-renown metal mastering engineer Maor Appelbaum to create powerful melodic and tonally distorted songs harkening back with a sound reminiscent of the power-house industrial music scene of the 1990's when high-quality production and aggressive song writing were a staple to convey the socio-economic inadequacies and emotional breakdown of the world climate that we live in. "The industrial genre has been largely dormant and neglected for the past 20 years in the popular music charts ; we're picking up where it was left off back in the late 90's and we have a lot of years of pent up issues to discuss since then," states Superdestroyer. "This music is 20 years in the making for us, and we intend to have our voices be heard loud and clear just as our predecessors did with angst, aggression, truth, and spite. No more well-wishes and thoughts and prayers bulls**t. Here we are." Superdestroyer's two newest single releases, "Gun", and "The System" are available now. Both releases are centered around the lack of accountability in the leadership system that represents the well-being of the people they govern; and the often-neglected idea that the people hold the true power over forcing that accountability.
