Frank started his solo project Morktra in 2014 after not being in a band for a few years and to keep his mind busy in the wake of losing his wife to a drunk driver in 2013. Morktra has released 5 full length albums since then and quite a few singles, plus a demo. The music spans across a few genres from folk, rock, alternative, and metal. His main focus is the acoustic guitar usually with the help of a looper to craft deep and mind stimulating musical journeys. He sometimes also uses a synth in his compositions as well. What started as mostly depressive and sad music has evolved over time to be thought provoking and psychedelically spiritual in nature. Sometimes he even delves into the comedic with his songs as he has learned not to take life too seriously.
