David Courts, otherwise known as ‘Dolla’, is a recording artist and engineer, who has been creating and writing music since 2006. After the death of his birth mother, Courts found his passion and love for music at a young age. Recording in a professional studio at the age of six & from there, going on to drop his first mixtape by the age of 14, which he entitled “Views From The Field” released in late December of 2014. Since then, he has released a plethora of singles on SoundCloud along with a collaborative album entitled “Far From Love” with whom he wrote & created with his friend and upcoming musician ‘Apollo Storm’ in 2017. After the album, Courts strayed away from music. 
 Releasing his first single in over a year entitled ‘Reloaded’ which was released in late 2018, addressing the recent passing of his Aunt (mom) who raised him as her son, passing just a couple months before the song was released. 
Although coming from a small town in Ohio wasn’t easy for Courts, it never restricted him from being the person he saw himself to be. For him, it was easier to dream big rather than stay confined. Even though at times he becomes distraught or doubtful that things will go his way, he keeps pushing for what he loves, lost and has loved. The memories make Courts sad, but he’s not bitter. And in many ways it’s the loss that drives him.
