Growing up, Vici.PR got his start in hip hop as a Bboy or a breakdancer. Through breaking and participating in local events he established his own style and affinity for the culture. After events he would always freestyle with his crew outside. Eventually these became more frequent and he decided to take up music seriously. Vici’s sound is inspired by the 90s and early 2000s hip hop and R&B he grew up listening to. 
 The name Vici was given to him by his breaking crew. It draws its inspiration from the Latin phrase “Veni, Vidi, Vici” and translates to “I conquered” The PR stands for Project Reign, his bboy crew based out of the Bay Area.
