My name is Newbyy, spelt with two Y’s. I’m an artist out of Brisbane, Australia who simply likes to talk shit and tell stories. I grew up being a misunderstood kid, feeling 30 in a 13 year old body, but this shit isn’t a pity party so imma just calm down and move on. Majority of the time I will rap but tbh music is music. I just want to give you all an escape from the bullshit of life. Whether it’s some dark and somber reflections on my emotions and experiences, or some melody based RNB vibes that makes you wanna lock doors and dim lights with the missus. Or even some banging hip-hop that makes you want to hit the clubs and double park yourself on purpose. I just want you all to forget your worries and come on a journey. I’m definitely no music prodigy that was born playing Beethoven with his eyes closed. Music was just always around me growing up, especially when shit hit the fan. It helped me escape. So now I just want to do the same for others. Give you an inside look at my brain and hopefully you can relate in some way. Love it or hate it, I’m simply and genuinely me. Always been that way and not changing anytime soon. All in all, I have no fucking clue where imma be 5 years down the track.
