Falling in love with hip-hop music, his introduction into the culture came from J. Cole , XXXTENTACION , Juice WRLD , Kanye West , and Drake. He picked up producing in 2014, making mostly bedroom pop with a little bit of rap. Fully embracing his love for hip-hop with his song Come On! Hxy made his switch into rap, the most genuine form of his art. Following the release of Come On!, Hxy has released a wide range of songs, including an album Caddell Woods.
