Born in Joliet, Illinois on March 20, 2004, Remilo has been using music and basketball as a way to cope with difficult emotions and situations since he was little. He started listening to more emo rap and alternative rap in late 2017, drawn to artists like xxxtentacion and sad lil uzi vert. In 2018, he started rapping himself, at first joking around, but then taking it more seriously over time. That's when he met Sammyyglo, who put him on to artists like Playboi Carti and Summrs. They started making music together on their phones using Bandlab, and got their laptops in the summer of 2021. Since then, they've been working hard on their music, creating tracks that blend elements of emo and trap. Remilo enjoys making music that's honest and raw, drawing on his own experiences and emotions. He's also a big fan of basketball and making YouTube videos. In fact, he's got a YouTube channel where he posts videos of himself playing basketball, making music, and just hanging out with friends. Remilo has had his fair share of struggles in life, including dealing with girls who cheated on him, backstabbed him, and led him to cope with unsafe substances. He's also experienced a lot of fear of losing people, and has lost someone close to him. But through it all, he's remained committed to staying true to himself and expressing himself through his music.
