I took on the name PRDGL(Pronounced Prodigal) because my story is one of redemption just as the prodigal son in the Bible. I am originally from Allentown, PA and have been in the Lehigh Valley area all my life. Since the age of 14 I fell in love with Hip Hop and always knew it would be my passion. As a pastor’s son growing up in church I believed faith and religion were my greatest adversary. When I went to college and finally got what I thought was “freedom” my life spiraled downward into frat-life, drinking, smoking weed and promiscuity. After 5 years of living a very lonely and addictive life I realized that I needed a change. Coming back to my faith was what saved me from myself and I knew God was my only answer. Now as a lyricist, rapper, and committed believer I have a duty to tell my story and to make my best effort to help others not fall into the same trap that I did through my music. My songs have been inspired by pain and loss but they also point to the light at the end of the tunnel that only God can provide.
