MASARI is a dj-duo consisting of 2 childhood friends; Kari Hermans & Thomas Coppens. Both born and raised in Antwerp, they started dj’ing in their bedroom before joining forces in 2013. Due to their extensive taste in music, mixing up different genres is right up their alley. Winning DJ-contest after DJ-contest, they quickly found their way into the Belgian dj scene. Their breakthrough came when they got selected for one of Belgium’s leading A-list festivals: Laundry Day. From then on, they started playing different festivals and most nightclubs in Belgium. The duo has been travelling to the other side of the world to play at the hottest parties of Central-America for 3 consecutive years. Following their foreign success, they got the opportunity to play at Tomorrowland in 2016. Nowadays, they are known for their energetic, creative and skillful sets. Their debut single “Heartlight” features the sublime vocals of Joe Killington. His lines combined with MASARI’s trappy summer sound makes this song the perfect festival banger.
