Bionic the Soul KIng, Lawyer by Day, Producer by Night. He has worked consistently with A-Q . Most notably, for producing the smash hit, Eunice. Bionic is one of the premier Sample based producers in Nigeria. Bionic started his career as a rapper in the 90s but soon got lost into music production, and his world was not the same again. He began producing for his crew; the HalfLife crew, producing cuts on their seminal Mixtape; Maga Must Pay and went on to supply beats for AQ's projects: Love and Money, Son of John 1 and 2 and Rose. In 2017, tired of having tons of mp3s beats with no idea of the stems due to computer crashes, he decided to start releasing them in a series he tagged Shadows of a Dusty Crate. The first instalment was called ;The Soul Man: a collection of Soul sample based boom bap hip hop which he had made over the course of years, he closely followed it up with Wild Nights and Grimy Days that reflected the more experimental and ambient sounds he was beginning to toy with before the last computer crash. This garnered a lot of respect and attention in the Hip Hop circles in Nigeria and cemented him as a force to be reckoned with in the underground hiphop scene. He then released more instrumenatal albums incuding the seminal "Freedum; in 2019. He has also released collaborative projects, including the Great Schism with PlasthicSlash and Scars & Redemption I and II; and Soul'd Out with J.Ice amongst other classics with Stoute Louis, Moses Audu and more.
