A 90’s baby, music has always been one of the most important things in Jaystar’s life, starting at the age of 7. Jaystar has begun cultivating a global buzz in France and Africa. Not only a singer and songwriter Jaystar also produces beats and arranges songs for a few artists in the underground scene, all of his work are recorded in his own studio and are also mixed and mastered by Jaystar himself. His debut self titled song ‘A Woman’s Point of View’ was played on major television stations such as, Flava TV. Jaystar released a song called “Signs of Making Love” which was the top 5 selected tunes on channel AKA for almost 5 weeks in a row, and also came 2nd in the top 50 selected songs of 2012. The song was taken out from his debut EP called “Jays World”. The song did so well that it also received a few plays on Choice FM by Jenny Francis, slow down. His music has also started taking over parts of Africa by storm. Jaystar’s music video “Never Leave Me” is currently played on Channel AKA, Flava TV and also on French music channels such as ‘Trace TV’, ‘BBlack TV’ and many other channels in African countries, doing so well that it was the 4th most requested song out of 48 songs in Africa. Following this success the unsigned/independent artist Jaystar was invited to support ‘T Pain’ on the 7th of August 2014 in the Ivory Coast by ‘Orange Mobile Network Africa’ and also Participated in one the biggest programs in Africa called ‘Afrique Etoiles’.
