One of the best female jazz guitar players in Europe. Krzysia is endowed with an extraordinary artistic personality. She has been performing on festival and club stages in Poland and Europe for almost 20 years. Pat Metheny wrote about her first album "Tales" wrote: “I have been listening to your CD - and you all sound really good on there! Nice blend between you and I think it is great that you seem to be working hard on trying to get your own group sound and concept happening!”. Her way of playing is a combination of virtuosity with subtle femininity, she feels good in many musical styles, moving freely in various conventions. She collaborates with jazz musicians and also plays with symphony orchestras and string quartets. Krzysia is a graduate of the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz (Austria) in the jazz guitar class. She has released seven albums so far and one of her composition titled “Blue” made it to the final 12 tunes from among over 15,000 submitted in the "2005 International Songwriting Competition", where the jury included Tom Waits, Joss Stone, Sonny Rollins, Macy Gray, John Scofield and Steve Vai among others. The 2018 poll of Jazz Forum monthly placed Krzysia on the 10th place among the best Polish jazz guitarists. She is currently recording her new album set for release in autumn 2019.
