SLIM VETT is best known for being one of the most influential Rappers in the Cap City "Pretoria", was born and raised in a township known as Mamelodi which simply means "Mother of melodies". The development of his unique style is inspired by the likes of Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Ye and etc... Growing up in a musical background meant that SLIM VETT was always surrounded by different forms of music Such as African Music, Jazz, Rap & House music. He is a self-taught Lyricist, Producer & Songwriter. He started writing inspiring poems at the early age of 16 years and recorded his first song at the age of 17 until his friend/fellow rapper K9NE T9NE featured him on a song called "On Ma Level" which was recorded in his home studio. Later on he decided to pursuit music as a career, and began writing and recording more of his own style of music. As his confidence grew and his style developed, he soon began to showcase his talent to various venues across South Africa, playing at numerous gigs. His loyal following began to grow, and he slowly becoming popular.
