Biography

Sarah Logan was born and raised in Maine and began playing fiddle and singing at 5 years old. She attended ETSU (East Tennessee State University) with a major in their bluegrass program. Her music influences include Alison Krauss, Adam Steffey, Jerry Douglas and Stuart Duncan.Sarah says her Dad is the one who got her started playing the fiddle and bluegrass music, as well as kept her playing through the years. Since joining Wilson Banjo Co. in 2016, Sarah’s growth as an artist has been a pure joy to witness. She has not only become one of the most unique and easily recognizable vocalists in the industry, she has demonstrated her abilities in the studio with song arrangement, application of flawless harmonies and a sweet and sassy fiddle style. Sarah is often referred to as “the voice” of Wilson Banjo Co. and nothing could be closer to the truth. She fits every lyric, melody, mood and groove to a tea and the truly one of a kind and diverse sound of the band would not be possible without her. Sarah Logan has earned the respect of a countless number of her peers from the industry and has had the privilege of recording along many of them as well. Now a sought after session vocalist, both lead and harmony, Sarah enjoys the opportunity to record many different types of projects. A young woman of only 26 with so many accomplishments already, there’s no doubt we have a lot more to expect from Sarah Logan as the years pass.
