Krystal Gem has performed opera and soul in Florence, ITL, Carnegie Hall, throughout the southeast and east coasts and recently planted thespian roots in southern California. She has composed for the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, independent films, and brands that align with her personal conviction of uplifting Magical Black Girls through the conduits of the visual and performing arts. Her music explores themes of self discovery, love, loss, sexuality, and the ever changing power of self acceptance. Krystal Gem hails from the birthplace of America's music- Jackson, MS. She loves Lucky Charms, banana chips, Image comics, and all things Sailor Moon.
