1st prize jazz with honors from the Conservatoire National de Paris, he is one of the talented musicians of his generation. In 2009, he created his Quartet Big 4 with whom he released 4 records including the last one in April 2017, "7 years" (CHOC Jazz Magazine). With his group, he has the chance to record in 2014 in New-York with tenor saxophonist Tony Malaby. Also in 2009, he joins the Ping Machine orchestra, a large ensemble , of which he will be one of the spearheads for 10 years and with which he records 5 acclaimed records, punctuated by a nomination of Ping Machine at the Victoires du Jazz in 2014. In 2011, he creates with the double bass player Raphaël Schwab the duo Schwab-Soro which produces 2 records. He tours in China with this duo in 2018. In 2016, he joined the Ozma Quintet, with which he toured extensively internationally (Germany, Central Europe, South America, Asia), recorded 2 albums. At the beginning of 2019, he has the honor to be called by Fred Maurin in the new National Jazz Orchestra and participates in the first 4 projects of the orchestra ( Dancing in your Head, a tribute to Ornette Coleman; Rituals and a program on the Count of Dracula and Ex-Machina with the great alto player Steve Lehman) In the spring of 2020, he will create a new trio within the Pegazz and Helicon collective, "Players" with his with his favorite playmates Stephan Caracci and Ariel Tessier.
