1st prize jazz with honors from the Conservatoire National de Paris, he is one of the talented musicians of his generation. In 2009, he created his Quartet Big 4 with whom he released 4 records including the last one in April 2017, "7 years" (CHOC Jazz Magazine). With his group, he has the chance to record in 2014 in New-York with tenor saxophonist Tony Malaby. Also in 2009, he joins the Ping Machine orchestra, a large ensemble , of which he will be one of the spearheads for 10 years and with which he records 5 acclaimed records, punctuated by a nomination of Ping Machine at the Victoires du Jazz in 2014. In 2011, he creates with the double bass player Raphaƫl Schwab the duo Schwab-Soro which produces 2 records. He tours in China with this duo in 2018. In 2016, he joined the Ozma Quintet, with which he toured extensively internationally (Germany, Central Europe, South America, Asia), recorded 2 albums. At the beginning of 2019, he has the honor to be called by Fred Maurin in the new National Jazz Orchestra and participates in the first 4 projects of the orchestra ( Dancing in your Head, a tribute to Ornette Coleman; Rituals and a program on the Count of Dracula and Ex-Machina with the great alto player Steve Lehman) In the spring of 2020, he will create a new trio within the Pegazz and Helicon collective, "Players" with his with his favorite playmates Stephan Caracci and Ariel Tessier. Their first album will be released on March 17, 2023 on the Neuklang label
