Exhale (Swe) is a prominent Swedish grindcore band that emerged onto the extreme metal scene 2004 formed by drummer Gustav E. and guitarist Johan Y. Exhales debut “Die Inside,” (2004 demo) marked the beginning of their journey into the realms of grindcore and was awarded high scoring points in various zines including Close-Up magazine and Sweden Rock. Following the success of “Die Inside,” Exhale continued to push the boundaries with “Prototype.” This release solidified their status within the grindcore community and reviews stated: holding the Swedish grindcore flag high and keep pushing the heritage after Nasum. (R.I.P Mieszko). Prototype -released on Emetic Records in 2006. Heavy touring followed the release and Exhale visited USA for several shows incl. Maryland death fest. “Blind - 2010” further cemented Exhales position as a force to be reckoned with. “Blind” received critical acclaim and further expanded their fan base. Released on Dark Balance records. The release of “When Worlds Collide” marked a pinnacle in Exhales career, showcasing a matured and refined sound. This album demonstrated their ability to balance aggression with technical precision, earning them respect within both the grindcore and broader metal communities. Released on Pulverized Records.
