Will “NEO” Lasar is a 18 year old musician from the San Fransisco Bay Area. He specializes in all sorts of genres including alternative rock, metal, alternative hip hop, R&B, pop Will is the son of famous new age artist Mars Lasar (mainly know for his work with Seal, Herbie Hancock, etc), and got musically inspired from growing up around him. Will also got inspired into metal and rock from his sister. For Will’s first Spotify project, he worked with American idol singer Kason Lester on the song “The River”. This song took off and currently has over 20 thousand plays. Will is taking a different approach with his debut album “The Skies Above Us”, a heavily emotional album with pop and r and b influence. This album reaches the deepest of depths of mental and personal health, diving in to subjects such as self love, insecurity, lust, heartbreak, addiction, and more. In Will's second album, Will goes into a new scope of genres and completely transforms his sound into this soegazey experience that takes inspiration from many places. The album talks very deeply about isolation and how that affects the mind, and touches on themes of depression, and burnout.
