Biography

Matteo Venturini (Florence, 1981) is Professor of Organ at the “A. Pedrollo” Conservatory of Music in Vicenza, guest professor at the “Organistas de México” Academy in Mexico City and organist of the San Miniato’s Cathedral. He earned five diplomas studying at the conservatories of Florence and Perugia, the Institute Pontifical Sacred Music of Rome and the Musikhochschule of Freiburg - Germany with the professors Giovanni Clavorà Braulin (Organ and Organ Composition, with honors), Damiano D’Ambrosio (Composition), Luca Scandali (Master’s course in Organ, with full marks), Theo Flury (Post-gradum diploma in Improvisation, with honors) and Klemens Schnorr (Diploma of Concert performer, with full marks). He is the winner of eight national and international organ performance competitions, he has recorded one twenty CDs, performs concerts in Europe and America and is artistic director of the “Amici dell’Organo della Pace” Association in Sant’Anna di Stazzema - Lucca.
