Samuel Hiew is a singer, songwriter and music producer based in Malaysia. An avid music lover and talented singer from childhood, Samuel’s journey into song writing began when he borrowed a friend’s guitar at 15, and soon after begged his parents for his own instrument. After practising relentlessly, he quickly graduated from learning other people’s music and performing covers for an audience of YouTube followers, to writing and producing his own work. Now an established pop artist with projects that delve into elements of Future bass, EDM and rock, Samuel has developed a dedicated fanbase, which he has grown through collaborations with other prominent artists. With the mantra “Be Positive and Stay Positive Always”, Samuel infuses his work with a level of inspiring optimism and unflinching honestly, encouraging his listeners to be kind, make the most of their life and, most importantly, dance. His latest project is “Be There”, a single written by Samuel and performed and produced in tandem with frequent collaborator Noyade.
