Adam Hannibal (Kasm) is the co-founder and manager of Balanced Records, the JUNO award winning record label based in Winnipeg and Montreal. He has been DJing since 1995, incorporating an eclectic range of global, electronic and bass oriented genres in his sets. He has performed alongside acts as diverse as Amon Tobin, Coldcut, Clifford Gilberto, Spooky, Dieselboy, Luke Vibert, Venetian Snares, Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk) and Banco de Gaia. Kasm has remixed and collaborated on numerous projects including work by DJ Brace, Cayetano, the Ukrainian ensemble Paris to Kyiv, Amsterdam's Process Rebel, Swedish soundscape artist Skyscaper, the Iraqi French troupe Aiwa and many others. He also co-hosts Quadrafunk, Winnipeg’s longest running DJ show on CKUW which has been on the airwaves since 1999 and is a co-founder of the Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition.
