Jane Young (Evgeniya Aknazarova) began her musical journey at the age of 10, constantly balancing learning how to play the violin with vocal lessons. Mainly, these were classical music lessons, but being a sophomore at Glinka Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory in a violin class, she started studying with a pop / jazz vocal teacher and that was the key element choosing her stylistic heading in singing. Other than studying at the conservatory, she played the violin as part of an ensemble performing Baroque music and participating in many European festivals. She received scholarships twice to take part in master classes in the International Music Sessions of Holland in 2006/2007, in International Music Forum 2009 in Slovenia. Having graduated the Conservatory in 2010, she won 2nd prize at the international Grand Prix of St. Petersburg vocalists competition. She worked as a singer and violinist at circus shows for the Swiss Dream Circus in 2018 and 2019. Currently, she is working as a solo artist singer / violinist.
