Denzel “Yng DC” Covington is a African American Rapper from Birmingham Alabama. He is the founder of the Group/Independent label NGE known as NationGang Entertainment. DC is a Outspoken Lyricist from the South. DC is known for catchy hooks, slay on word play, and his metaphors. He was raised with a love for Gospel music introduced by his grandparents, R&B from his mother and finally Hip-Hop from his older brothers. DC’s idols in the industry is Lil Wayne, Eminem, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, and Andre 3000. He wishes one day for his name to be remembered alongside the Greats. 
 Since 2016 he has released Multiple Mixtapes such as “Been Chilling For To Long,” “The Last Rose,” “Life of a Hustla,” and “Free Agent”. He has also done features with other unsigned artists because in his words: “ We all need to grow together, than hating on another individual music”. DC has taken a lot of downfalls in his life and dealt with a lot of pain; leading to his questioning of music. This gave him the idea to release his first debut project entitled“UNDECIDED”.

 Beginning of 2019, he released the project “Undecided”. Then a year later he released his second Debut album “I AM HUMAN”.
