Starting in 2001, FreeSol, a songwriter, producer, philosopher, actor, business mogul and performer from Memphis, TN, began his journey of self-discovery. Discovered by Justin Timberlake in 2005 and signed with Interscope Records in 2006 working and/or sharing the stage with such notables as Justin Timberlake, Timberland, Cool & Dre, Pitbull, Elton John, Foo Fighters, OutKast, Rico Wade, Mike Elizondo, Dave Tozer, Big Sean, and many more. In 2012, he was released and took a long hiatus. Leaving Memphis and moving to Southern California, Free took on other business ventures successfully, got married, began a family and spent time remembering why he began FreeSol, in the first place. Now he has returned, not only to his true purpose and love of making and performing music but he is now back home in Memphis, to claim his throne around the WORLD as one of the many Memphis greats!
