Claudio Citarella is a bass player, producer & composer from Italy. Born in 1968 in Benevento, he is moving his first musical steps as a piano player and soon switched to acoustic bass at the 'Domenico Cimarosa Conservatory of Music' He has been playing electric bass since 1980. As a prolific studio session's bass player he works with Pino Presti, Gianni Morandi, Shirley Bunnie Foy, Vinnie Colaiuta, Georg Wadenius, Bruno Speight, Freddie Hall, Bob Rose, Gam Gam, Paul Manners, Don Moye, Franco Cerri, Gregory Darling, Roby Facchinetti, Vince Tempera, Mauro Malavasi, Steve Ferraris... In 1999 Claudio composes, produces & performs his first solo album 'Traces of Avalon' followed by 'River Blues' with the nick name Philip Stone, both albums for New Life Records.
