Funk.Shu is an Atlanta based hip-hop producer who's bread and butter consist mainly of lofihiphop, chillhop, and boombap sound arrays. Being raised on the south side of Atlanta oddly enough a lot of his influence comes from 90s - 2000s era hip-hop, jazz, and house from all over the globe. With influences ranging from J Dilla, Nujabes, Gang Starr, Stlndrms, Daft Punk, 9th Wonder, and many of his peers on Soundcould.) He is apart of a very talented group of producers and Dj's akin that go by the name Controllerise and are the main focal point for the underground beat scene in Atlanta. Funk.Shu has also been featured in articles by AUX READY and mentioned in Creative Loafing's write up on Controllerise's VibeSessions due to the exciting energy carried during his sets.
