Biography
Unlike the majority of his late-2010s contemporaries, R&B vocalist, songwriter, and producer Shade Jenifer got his first break through radio. An entry in a social media-driven airplay contest run by WPGC, a radio station in Jenifer's native Washington, D.C.. "Ain't No Problem" was released as Jenifer's first single in early 2016. A self-titled debut album heavy on romantic, Usher- and Chris Brown-inspired street ballads, all of which were composed by Jenifer, was out by the end of that April.
