Kfhox, a songwriter & artist, based in Nashville by way of NYC, is enjoying her 13th year as an indie artist. With an eclectic catalog that ranges from pop to hip hop to R&B, her music is a reflection of her evolution as an artist and human being. One half of Source Sound, she and her fiancé, Jonathan Nixon, have been creating a vast landscape of music together. Her latest single, “Today,” is the first solo project that Nixon produced as a Kfhox single. Kfhox is also enjoying writing for other artists in the United States and Canada. A voting member of the Recording Academy since 2016, Kfhox has been under Grammy consideration every year since then with projects she wrote and performed on. She has also been active with advocacy for the rights of creators through the Academy during her time as a member. She most recently joined SONA (Songwriters of America) to further advocate for the rights of songwriters specifically. An avid supporter of other artists and live music in her community, she is also a long time member of HOME (Helping Our Music Evolve), which aims to create a supportive community for artist development and music production in Nashville and beyond. She has been a member for over 6 years and held her first Nashville single release party for her song, “L-O-V-E,” at HOME back in 2019. In addition to being a songwriter, Kfhox is also an author and illustrator. Her children’s book, “Screaming to be Free,” is based on the song of the same title.
