Kendall, also known by his stage name, SG(Slaughter Gang) Kendall, is a 25 year old American rapper from Decatur, Georgia. Growing up in Zone 6(East Atlanta), he was surrounded by violence and as a result, he became entangled in the system at an early age. Kendall was in and out of jail throughout his teenage years, and by the time he was 17, he was a convicted felon. At the age of 19, he found himself facing a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years for possession of a firearm and aggravated assault in the state of Florida. Kendall sat in Bay County jail an entire year awaiting trial and sentencing before he was offered a deal. He served 3 years in the Florida Department of Corrections and was sent to serve his last year in the DeKalb County Jail on August 4, 2016. Upon his release from DeKalb on June 3, 2017, Kendall felt like he was given a second chance. Not wanting this opportunity to be taken for granted, Kendall immediately began working on his music. His mother, family, and friends recognized his musical talents from the very beginning and their support encouraged him to do something positive with his gift. Kendall has been recording and writing ever since. He has been featured on several projects and released his first single “Shooting" featuring SG Tip on June 1, 2018. His EP, Count to 6, is currently in the works, and is scheduled to be released June 2018.
