Kuami Eugene, born Eugene Marfo, is a fast rising Ghanaian highlife, afrobeats and afro pop singer. He started off as a contestant on the MTN Hitmaker, a talent show in Ghana that gives a platform to upcoming artistes to showcase their musical talents. He came second runner up and was quickly signed by the CEO of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah, who saw the future of Ghana music in the young talent. After a string of hit songs such us 'Ebeyeyie', 'Boom Bang Bang', 'Confusion', and the much loved smash hit 'Angela', Kuami Eugene picked up the 'Best New Artiste of The Year' and 'Highlife Artist of The Year' at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (2018). In 2019 he picked up 'Producer of The Year', 'Highlife Artist of The Year' and Album of the year' for his debut album 'Rockstar'. He was finally crowned the overall 'Artist of The Year' in 2020 at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. The Rockstar is here to stay. Kuami Eugene released his second studio album Son Of Africa on 9th October 2020 which received rave reviews. Songs like 'Open Gate' and Show Body have been very popular with fans. In 2021 he released his upbeat single 'Dollar On You' which was a fan favourite before blessing us with his EP, Afro Highlife which brought us beautiful songs like Bunker, Te Na Fie and Fire Fire.
