She was born in Izmir. She acted as an actor and musician in many plays, including City Theatre and private theatres. The music she started as a child was continued by getting accepted into Ege University State Conservatory of Turkish Music, Department of Voice Education in 2013. She graduated from here in 2017, taking courses from many valuable instructors in the art major of Turkish Folk Music and Turkish Art Music. Izel Susam, who plays many instruments such as baglama , guitar, piano, and clarinet, offers examples from World Music and different ethnicities, aside from alternative music and Turkish music. Izel Susam, who arranges her songs and folk songs, continues her stage work, teaching music and working in private theatres.
