Born in New York and raised in the South of England, Alf.E's musical taste and influence travels far and wide. Growing up listening to a lot of Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Rock, Folk and R&B, he later went on to delve into producing & beat making. Starting off within the early UK Dubstep movement and 80's-90's-inspired House music, he took influence from the likes of Benga, Kerri Chandler, Logic & Larry Heard. But after hearing 'Welcome 2 Detroit' by J. Dilla, everything changed. Dipping into the world of Dilla & D'Angelo, he fell in love with all things Neo-Soul & Jazz. Dilla & D'Angelo forever being the main inspiration you hear today.
