Optimystic LMZ is a mythical woodland creature. He travelled to the Twin Cities from Leningrad inside of a littered bottle of Smirnoff Vodka thrown into the Atlantic by a gulag prisoner. This was right about the time "Wu Tang Clan" album was released as well as the same moment the famous Jewish folk-hero "Bob Dylan" swallowed up his first gulp of Peruvian Ayahuasca from the ladle of an elderly witch-doctor. Opti spent his youth taking root in the cryptic lifestyle of underground Hip Hop. It was them when he learned the art of shouting vigorously at drunken strangers. Through this zen-like mediation he developed a humble, yet dedicated fanbase with his tribe "Lifted Mindz" and later on with the Psychedelic Jam Hop group "Goop City Music". The last few years have been womb to the evolution of Optimystic's artform. He realized that his vigorous shouting would be well-complimented by incorporating more air horns, an amount of air horns many beat-makers today simply cannot handle. And so went Opti down the road of music production and engineering. Today, Optimystic LMZ is a well respected producer, songwriter, storyteller, performance artist, acrobat, master sommelier, hyperbolist, and most of all, your friend.
