Marianna Masadi grew up on the Swabian Alb, near Stuttgart, in a vibrant Greek community. She in parallel visited German and Greek schools and finished with a high school degree. Marianna regularly spent her holidays in the land of her ancestors, where she got to know their culture, music, and carefree way of life which she soon fell in love with. She is trained in singing, piano and Ballet. At the age of 12 Marianna Masadi wrote her first songs and composed small performances while she had also been receiving piano and ballet lessons since she was 4 years old. With an unmistakably Mediterranean joie de vivre and a German poise and elegance, Marianna impressed audiences and notable figures in the world of culture. One of them was none other than Mikis Theodorakis. The legendary Greek composer encouraged her to become “the new voice of Greece”, an advice she took seriously. In 2023 she signed with Heaven Music and released a series of successful digital singles starting with “Otan Agapas” in collaboration with noted lyricist Nikos Moraitis and composer Olga Koutsoukali. She continued with “Perastikos” and “Tha Epistrepsis” which together have amassed more than 1 million views on YouTube. Marianna also enjoys a high-profile presence in both Greek and German media with appearances in top-print magazines, radio stations and television programs.
