Novel-T’s professional music career blossomed in the early 90s when she migrated to South Florida from Jamaica. Her talents were quickly discovered, after trying out for several bands and being accepted in them all as their frontline lead singer. She started performing all around the USA, which helped to establish her presence in the local music industry, where she has had the honor of sharing the entertainment stage with revered icons and legends who have inspired her over the years, and for whom she has the deepest respect. Performing alongside, and/or sharing the stage with, great icons, such as Marcia Griffiths, Bob Andy, J.C. Lodge, Ken Booth, Freddie McGregor, Glen Washington, Hopeton Lindo and many others, has no doubt helped to make her the artist she is today. She has collaborated on several projects with renowned industry greats both in Jamaica and the US where she has provided Lead and/or Background Vocals on various projects . Novel-T began recording and publishing her own music in the mid-2000s. With several #1 songs on various charts in her recent history, her aim is to continue making great music that resonates with the listening public, and using her music as a means of spreading positivity, love, empowerment, and motivation.
