The Retrosonic were founded in 2020 by three aspiring young musicians from Bavaria, Germany. Vocalist Julia “JUSM” Rauch, multi-instrumentalist Philip Strobel and producer Aaron B. Schuster pursue their goal of combining old and new sounds from the last decades of popular music with new influences from basically anywhere. 
 Their first single “Cigarette Daydreams” with singer-songwriter Michael Lex was recorded for the short film of the same name by Jessica Reinhardt aka “Thaigerli”.
